Another great space adventure for Spensa. She continues to be an awesome lead character and Sanderson once again introduces great new characters. The real standout here is the lore dump though. This book gets more in the weeds of the secrets of the universe than either of the previous two and it is really interesting. The universe being built here is super cool and this is a great setup for the final book.
The Traveler is a really great follow-up to Queen's Road. Instead of picking up right where that left off with a direct sequel, this takes place generations in the future. I really dig this angle because it introduces new interesting characters and allows us to see the world through Tyra's eyes, which is a pretty different experience than last time we were here.
Really loved it! Great protagonist and supporting characters. The primary antagonist even has some nice complexity and depth. The potential relationship between Amistar and Käywn is adorable and awesome. Overall, really good and definitely worth checking out for anyone who enjoys YA Fantasy.
