Excellent novel. Sucks that I had already seen the movie first, it follows the plot-line of the book to a T, so I already knew what would happen. If you've come from the excellent Cumberbatch movie on Netflix, appreciate the writing, just know there isn't much to differentiate it.
Fantastic. I really enjoyed this one and look forward to more in the Shardlake series and also learning more about this period in British history, of which I know admittedly little.
A fun listen. I'm sure a spell check would have a field day with the language and I love it.
Typical McCathy - sparse, eloquent, at times horrific, and wonderful prose. A powerful read. I can see why it won the Pulitzer.
