I love Poirot and Agatha Christie's mysteries, but this one... this one, is just bad. Reasons why:
1- The victim is a child, I was not aware of this and not a fan of children being murder in books I read for fun
2- There was no sidekick, so the story was told from multiple points of view. As a general rule, in mysteries I prefer 1/2 POVs not 6 or 7
3- Social comentary aged horribly. According to this book, crimes against women and children are the fault of mothers who should have done a better job
4- The way every single character talked about the victim, a child, and I will repeat a child, is nauseating
5- The ending was not satisfactory enough. I didn't guess the hole thing, but the main twist was obvious for me
6- Poirot was insufferable
I am well aware that some of this is subjective, but if I was not determined to read all of Christie's mysteries this one would have been a DNF.
