Winter slowly lost me. She was supposed to be this experienced badass bitch. She isn't. She blames everyone for her own mistakes. She doesn't think things through and whines when things don't go her way. I can't connect with her and I don't respect her.

Aside from the FMC, the writing has holes that make me leave the world Ms. Anne tried to create. I am a gullible reader. I will let authors get away with mucking up small things in the plotline or telling an emotion without showing how is developed. I am fine with that and accept it. But... that tolerance went out the door after Winter was arrested. I couldn't give her any more slack.

Overall the book is fine it hits all your RH tropes but there is no meat to this story. I will not be continuing this series.
