Family affair

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! It seemed to be a bit of a denser “chick lit” book, and though at first I had some trouble getting into the storyline, I really ended up liking it. The Foster family reminds me a lot of The Family Stone.

I found both Brett and Layla to be likable, though not always. Trish and Scott made me laugh, and I found the development of parental issues to be an interesting twist.
