A reasonable read but the timeline, for me, becomes an issue and loses a star because of it. Here's why (contains possible spoilers)...
My reading order of this series is as follows: 5, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, and 4.5. As a result, reading those first seven suggested a timeline of autumn to late winter - just a few months. Reading this throws that timeline out suggesting over those seven books are actually nine or so months to a year's worth which I find difficult to believe that Amanda and Justin would wait that long to get married. Everything I'd read in this short story suggested it was written first then books 1 to 4 were written. Add to that of the age change in Justin's little brother.
When a story becomes a series, a coherent timeline is not only important, it's a must, a requirement so the reader doesn't get kicked out of the story involvement bubble. Unfortunately, I was thrown out on the very first page and struggled to stay in the zone to finish the story. Hence the 2 star rating.
