The Anatomy of Metroid

This is a video game analysis book, for the first two Metroid games, the original Nintendo Entertainment System {NES} game "Metroid", and the Game Boy {GB} Metrois II: The Return of Samus, along with a section on the NES game "Kid Icarus". A second volume was later released covering the Super Nintendo Entertainment System {SNES} game Super Metroid. Each of the games has color screenshots, except for grey scale screenshots for the Game Boy game. The book was released in the two volume versions, and also as a combined "Deluxe Edition". The first volume was released in a hardback ISBN: 9781457965821, and a paperback version ISBN: 9781457965838 released on SJan 11, 2014, through "Blurb Inc.", and the second volume was published only in Hardback version on April 03, 2014. The "Deluxe Edition" was released on April 15, 2014 through CreateSpace Independent Publishing ISBN: 9781512007152.
