That could mean finding a cozy spot in a park, stretching out on a chair poolside or on a blanket on the beach – or staying warm in bed. "Pool reads" are lighthearted and fun. Why this book?
Read it during my entire trip to Paris and London in 2005. It was a page turner and apt because it involved a lot of history, which was perfect for my Paris trip. I wouldn't say the story blew me off per se, but it was a good vacation read for sure.
