But from the things I heard from it I thought it would be sooo much worse. I read shit way worse than this

also deducted 1/2 a star every time he mentioned her “crown braid” bcs they are the hair equivalent of gladiator sandals (the ugliest ever)

some parts of this book felt like reading jameela jamil's instagram feed, honestly slaying too close to the sun to the point where it gets annoying.

Reading this felt like this book was too long yet too short???
it's like the author skipped every development on the relationship and narrated the most useless events for us

I mean, it is basically a fanfic of the movie “Life as we know it” (witch i love btw)
also the writing felt cringy in some points
it was fun! but 600 pages to retell the first book is a bit of a stretch if you ask me.
there is no way this couldn't have been shorter or chapters inserted in the first book
i just caught a few problematic things that icked me :(
but i liked the cliche and all so idk
