I'm trying to give less 5 stars this year, so 4* will be for something I really liked, and 5* for something truly exceptional.
5* for this lovecraftian tinged masterpiece. I didn't realise there was a Fehervari-verse in 40K (the Dark Coil, since you ask), but now I shall be reading all of them.
Not your standard 40K by a long shot.
This was bloody brilliant. It's 3am and I have to get up in 6hrs but I also needed to inhale the final 3rd of this before I could sleep.
Book one was good, book two very good. This was near flawless. I hope book four continues in the same fashion.
