A Court of Thorns and Roses

2014 • 2,094 Readers • 419 pages 3.8

Why this book?

If you were a child and had to care for your siblings and provide for them as if you were their parent, Feyre is for you! Extremely relatable in that aspect, as well as the guilt of living your life and enjoying things while wondering what your family is doing and if they are ok without you/ if they would be upset at you for being happy. Also the trope of doing whatever you can for someone and giving more of yourself than you need. Finally, watching her start to learn about happiness and love after being neglected and sad is really heartwarming and relatable.
