He made his debut as a writer at the age of 56 and quickly became one of the most popular authors of thriller novels in Poland. He is the author of books whose protagonist is an expert in historical investigations, Jakub Kania (444, Place and Name, Wotum, Kukły, Kołysanka, Orient; two of them were nominated for the Great Calibre Award), as well as the Polish-Greek thriller saga Katharsis (2023 Great Calibre Readers' Award) and the gripping thriller Nemezis, which reached the final of the lubimyczytac.pl Book of the Year 2023 competition.
