Author Bio

SARAH GABRIEL is a former college instructor with an M.A. and Ph.D. in art history. After completing a B.A. in studio art, Sarah went on to do graduate work in medieval studies, and discovered that she loved writing even more than drawing and painting. An experienced writer, lecturer, and historian, Sarah has also exhibited and sold her artwork. Her love of Scotland, as well as her love and respect for the romance genre, led her to write historical romance. Of Scottish and Irish descent (with a dash of French and Italian), Sarah has traveled extensively in Scotland and England. She has studied art, literature, history, music, healing therapies, martial arts, archery, and falconry, and hopes to include those interests (and more) in her stories. Sarah continues to do artwork and also practices tai chi to keep sane in a house dominated by guys and various other critters. She lives in Maryland with her husband, three sons, parakeets, fish, and a Westie.
