A Curious Beginning

I felt really conflicted about my opinions on this book. The scenery and the atmosphere is masterful but both the heroine and hero are abrasive and generally unlikable. This does improve around the 50% mark but neither are new-favorite protagonists of mine. I will probably read on in the series at some point.
