2.5 stars: “Okay plus”
It's a cute story, but it's very predictable. On top of that, the words are understandable but the prose has a tendency to being wooden, and the punctuation looks more like a spellcheck suggestion than an editor's work. Also, multiple inconsistencies that make the girl, Angie, sound like she's anywhere from six to fifteen (such as her wanting to be carried at the tree farm because her legs are too short to keep up...and she's twelve?) so she just missed being adorable.
But it was a cute read and Tate and Kelly make a sweet couple. A good story to get in the mood for Christmas, somewhat along the lines of the average Hallmark special.
