A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire

Well.....that's quite an ending!!

As much as I enjoyed this I do have to admit that not a great deal happens for probably 90% of this book. It's a whole load of banter and travelling and history and world building, which is all well and good as all the characters are great and the world interesting and we desperately needed some world building after book 1, but still it's a lot of pages where not a great deal actually happens.

Its taken me nearly a month to read a 625 page book (which is unheard of) because its long and slow and did I mention not much happened? But I still loved it. This woman knows how to write a cliff hanger ending so can book 3 come out now please??
