A short, enjoyable novella introducing the Hawthorne House series and siblings through the eyes of a friend of theirs. In places it was rushed, with a couple of surprising coincidences, and a few times it drops out of Regency-era speech, but otherwise it's really good! A nice intro to the series. I also liked the depth of character shown by these two, especially Amelia's interest in the servants.
