A Stolen Life

I'm choosing not to give this book a rating, because I feel weird in giving a number to a book about something as traumatic as being kidnapped and held captive for eighteen years. The writing was simple, almost childlike (which made sense given that Jaycee was kidnapped when she was in the fifth grade), but her story was honest and powerful.
