A Study in Emerald

If you are into mystery and suspense, just read this one. It reminds me of the short Alfred Hitchcock mysteries devoured during lunch-time at school. This brilliant story is just SIX (yes, one two three four five SIX!) pages long with mind-blowing presentation – the feel, the theme, typeface, advertisements, et al. Pre-requisite: You need to be familiar with Sherlock Holmes and Cthulhu (i.e. Lovecraft) universes.

So good is this story that it has been adapted into a board game of the same title. And I must say that the board game is equally fantastic and elevates the story-telling onto another level, inducing a level of tension not experienced in any other board game.
