A Throne From the Ashes

This is a great book however it lost 2 stars because it is so similar with another series by SJM. It is a great book and series though and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. 

This book carried on great from the previous book but was definitely more romance driven than the previous ones. I believe this did decrease the plot lines a bit though. 
This book was more character driven I feel like not a lot happened for so many pages and a lot of it was predictable. 
There were new characters introduced in this book and we did get some background knowledge on them later on, some of them I feel didn't make much of a storyline contribution.  

There are some parts in the story that I feel could be built on such as political conflicts and some of the more complex situations were solved quite basically. This is likely due to being YA book but this to me felt like we were missing information that could have added a bit more depth to the story. 

I still gave it a 3 start though because the writing was good and the over all story. I am still looking forward to reading the next books in the story.
