Book Review: A World Undone: The Story of the Great War, 1914 to 1918 by GJ Meyer - a comprehensive story of a tragic war. Much of what I thought I knew about World War I (which was not much) was wrong. It was a horrible tragedy of a war with 20 million wounded, 10 million soldier and 7 million civilians killed. And the war did much to bankrupt Europe. Without WWI the rest of history would be very different.
