~WRITING - PLOT - PACE~
My goodness this book made me tear up on more than a few occasions. It was a fantastic read for sure. The writing was excellent. It was very well paced. It was told in a dual POV format. The plot was engaging and kept me turning the pages. It was sweet. It was romantic. It was full of feels. Last, it was all wrapped up in a very sweet four years later epilogue.

The only small issue I did have with it was how long it took before we find out why Anthony was a douche, not once, but twice. Especially since it was a conversation that should have taken place the second time he acted like an a\(hole and ghosted Kelly for a week. He just apologizes and she falls back into his arms. It seemed a bit odd to me that Kelly wouldn't have demanded an explanation for his behavior on that occasion AND for this behavior ten years previous. I also was bothered by the fact that the explanation comes from his mother and not Anthony himself. That seemed like a conversation he should have been had with Kelly. That said, it was just a small little niggle for me.

~HERO~
ANTHONY...Doc was a super sweet hero for sure. He had a couple of a\)hole moments, but overall he was a very good book boyfriend. He wasn't a manwhore. He was sexy. He was alpha. He wore bow ties. He had a great relationship with his Mom. He was a great DR. He was pretty much all in with Kelly from the start. I loved him.

~HEROINE~
KELLY...I really liked Kelly as well, although right at the beginning she came across a bit cold and self-centered with the way she behaved towards finding out she was pregnant. But that was short lived, and she soon grew on me. She was sweet. She was feisty. She was strong. She fell for Doc pretty much from the start. I liked her.

~SECONDARY CHARACTERS~
I wouldn't say this one was heavy on secondary characters. We briefly hear from the heroines of the previous two books. Along with Kelly's Mom. The main secondary character is Anthony's Mom Lucy, and I adored her.

~HEAT LEVEL~
VERY LOW. She spends 70% of the book pregnant by another man...‘nuff said (lol). That said, this couple did have great on page chemistry.

~ANGST LEVEL - SEXUAL HISTORIES~
Lowish. I didn't find this one particularly angsty. Some of Anthony's behavior was a bit angst inducing, but nothing over the top. I think the angst relating to the sick baby does pick up after she is born, but again, I didn't feel it was over the top. Neither were virgins. Obviously, the heroine was pregnant, so she had sex with a f-ckbuddy, but I am fairly sure she was 30 weeks when she meets the hero again. The hero wasn't a manwhore, and it is never mentioned when he had last had sex. He mentions he doesn't sleep with random women, so I assume it had been awhile. There was no OW drama and a micro smidge of OM drama.

~IN THE END~
I enjoyed this one quite a lot. The writing was great. It was well paced. The plot was executed well (apart from my small issue pertaining to Anthony's “secret”). The characters both secondary and main were likable and well written, and the ending was sweet. This will definitely appeal to readers who love their romances sweet and drama free. Therefore yours truly is going to give this one two very solid thumbs up.
