I was given this book for free for an honest review.

It is 2256 and the world is going to pieces.

Syl (short for Sylvia) is a young woman in a post apocalyptic world where the human/bug hybrids will kill and eat you especially if you wander away from safety at night.

Bastion is from a different but same post apocalyptic world that is run by androids and where human emotions are considered glitches and then destroyed.

Syl and Bastion's worlds collide and they must somehow work together to get out of this alive. Syl finds out you cannot always trust your friends and sometimes you can trust an android, something she thought she would never see.

This is the first book of a series named “The Kepler Chronicles”. I am looking forward to seeing what happens in the next story and where it will go from here.
