Assistant to the Villain

I went into this book expecting a light, fun read. And it absolutely delivered. It is full of rom-com tropes, sunshine/grumpy silliness, with a twist at the end that I wasn't expecting and didn't see coming. This might be one of my favorite books I've read in the last 6 months, just for sheer fun and enjoyment. Go in expecting a romantic, fantasy comedy, expect to suspend your belief, and have fun with this one. 

The audiobook narrator as well was a delight, and really embraced the energy.
