Believe Boldly

I didn't know how much I needed this book until I started reading it. Erica's words about the power of prayer and how it can strengthen our faith just leaped off the page at me. I love her writing. It feels like sitting down and talking to a friend. Her words let me know I'm not alone, illustrate what prayer can do, and challenge me to step up my own prayer life. There are “Check Your Pulse” questions at the end of each chapter, and I really like those. They make me think. Believe Boldly has encouraged me to start getting up early each morning to spend time with God - I mean, when I'm reading, “Am I willing to get up as early as needed to hear from God?”, what else am I going to do? I haven't finished the book yet, because I'm taking time to read and digest it. I expect I'll read it more than once.
