An injured cat finds Ella and while tending it Ella discovers the kitty has wings. (That isn't normal?) When the cat gets out, Ella chases it and ends up in Oz. (laugh) Not really but close.

Her Wicked Song by Saruuh Kelsey

I have a new author I like. Holy sugar Saruuh Kelsey writes an amazing fantasy story. I will say that there is death, torture, and pain involved in her Wicked Song, but it works for the purposes of the story. I do wish a little more information had been given about the curse, but technically it has nothing to do with Rosenfay.
Forbidden Throne by Jennifer Laslie

This might be my favorite story. Jennifer Laslie creates a fantasy world that is at once advanced and archaic.
