Okay. So I kind of really hated this book. There might me some spoilers. But I don't think this book is worth reading. Sorry to the people that enjoyed it!
First of all, the two main characters, Harmony and Melody, have names that are both about music. There isn't much of a difference between the two, so I had a hard time figuring out which twin is which.
Second of all, the constant switching between the two characters confused me SO MUCH. It switched from Harmony to Melody every few pages. Which, again made it hard to figure out which twin is which. It took me to the near end of the book to be able to say “Oh! This is the religious twin!” or “Oh! This is the twin that is supposed to have the baby!”
And that takes me to the next thing I hated about this book. This book is basically promoting teen pregnancy. Look I see that when this book takes place, there's a Virus that makes people not capable of having babies in adulthood but this book took it way too far. There are kids younger than me. 12 and 13 years old that wear fake pregnancy bumps. I mean they're 12 and 13 years old. And they cant wait to actually have kids! I'm sorry but I just don't think that's right. There's even a girl that is still in elementary school and she's pregnant. It kind of disgusts me.
Another thing that I hated about this book is how pervy it was. I have never read a book with so many boner jokes or cum jokes. They were constantly streaming throughout. It made me feel a bit uncomfortable.
I also didn't like how this book is THE WAY THEY TALK. I understand that it takes place 30+ years in the future but the slang words that Melody uses confuses the heck out of me.
I hated how the book just ended right in the middle of a scene. UGH I CAN NOT STAND IT!
So in conclusion, I say don't waste your time reading this book. It's horrible, hard to get into, and just plain inappropriate.
