Castle Waiting

What a wonderful discovery this book turned out to be! Many thanks to the librarian who recommended it to me.
There is such a hodgepodge of cliches that get turned on their head and into a wonderfully charming, delightful and funny story that I couldn't possibly try to tell you what this book is exactly about. Suffice to say that there are a myriad of bizarre, but lovable characters that will take you on a heart warming adventure into a not-so-typical fairytale. I simply loved every minute of it. Though there is a definite feminism to the whole story, it isn't an in your face kind, which I liked about it too. The drawings are also very wonderful! I highly, highly recommend Castle Waiting and can't wait to delve into Vol. 2.
