ould you choose death over your soul mate, well if they looked liked Brad Pitt in the movie “Meet Joe Black” or Dank in this series, then hell yes. Regardless of the fact that Pagan falls in love with Death, she is loves the person he has become although she still doesn't remember him. The Deity took away her memories and now Dank has to convince her to fall in love with him all over again or he will lose her to her destined soul mate forever. Pagan starts College with her best friend Miranda who is a little boy crazy and on her first day there is rescued by Dank who helps the damsel in distress after she drops her box of shoes all over the ground. Dank is in a rock band and the lead singer of Cold Souls yet the only soul he wants is Pagan's forever. His devotion and willingness to do whatever it takes to win her back is admirable albeit a little stalkerish at times but still good. Pagan feels like she knows him but does not understand why and her ex-boyfriend turns up on the scene and wants to reignite their relationship. I have to say Jay is a douche, chatting girls up in front of Pagan and having sex at the drop of a hat because it is on tap is not my idea of boyfriend material. I love Gee, she is such a kick ass character, jumps in “where angels fear to tread kind of girl”, all snarky but still has a heart of gold. Ultimately this is a supernatural love story about two people who against all odds find each other and fight to stay together.
