I think goodreads is missing part of the title, because the book I read was called “Circe Deals with Men for Centuries and Honestly it's Incredible She Didn't Kill More of Them”

Like she's supposed to be exiled on an island for all eternity and STILL she can't escape them. Poor girl just wants to be left alone with her spells and her lion and her garden but every time she gets rid of one of them it's—sorry nope here comes yet another wave of overbearing patriarchy crashing upon your shore!
