While I was a bit concerned going into this book - while I love the author, urban fantasy isn't really my thing and the first book was something I didn't adore - I really had a lot of fun with this book. There's a lot more information about Lena, which was something we needed and, while some of it was uncomfortable (a given considering what she is) I thought it was handled really well. I also like how solid Isaac/Lena/Nidhi are, but there is still a bit of a struggle getting a relationship between three people (when two of the people are only friends) to work. Honestly, I really, really like the relationship in here. (And I like the different ways people react to it.) The magic is still a lot of fun and I am glad that there are some restrictions on it, otherwise the Libromancers would be super-over-powered. The plot was interesting and I really think our illustrious leader might be the big bad by the end. (At least I'm hoping he is because I kind of can't stand him.) I'm very excited to get my hands on the next in the series.
