An Adult Version of Choose Your Own Adventure
Love Him Not by Tara K. Reed, which was previously called Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda is a romantic comedy novel with 60 different endings. I would consider this an adult version of the Choose Your Own Adventure by R.A. Montgomery books.
Characters
There is a total of two main characters in this novel. Elle is a woman who just broke up with her boyfriend and her two friends Rachel and Valerie are helping her find a new man. Nick Wright is the man who she meets and it is her and Nick's relationship which propels this story forward.
Plot and Setting
In this novel, there are so many settings and plots. This is because you choose Elle's choices precise detail. Everything from the clothes she wears on a date with Nick or what to say in a difficult situation. You as the reader have control of what Elle does and says.
A Great Book
Overall, I did enjoy this book. As the reader, you are taken on a big adventure where every decision affects your future. One thing I found difficult with this book is it took me about a month to read it. I am not saying the vocabulary was tough to understand because it wasn't, but with 60 different endings and so many choices to choose from it made reading the book a little frustrating at the end. I do recommend this book and I think if you have the time to sit and go through all of the different endings it will be a fun read. I think a book with so many choices could be best read as a physical copy instead of an e-copy. I do want to read more of Tara K. Reed's books in the future. Thank you so much Tara K. Reed for sending me an e-copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
