Daisy Jones & The Six

Unpopular opinion: This is a DNF for me. (Audiobook version)

Expected a 5 star here.

When it got to the point where Billy and Daisy were writing all their songs together and sharing a mic and she tries to kiss him... I lost interest. Then I figured out why: I just really don't like Billy.

I don't like the way he puts her on this pedestal and portrays Daisy as a manic pixie dream girl.
The whole “I don't really know what the song was about...” When it's clearly about his boyish obsession with Daisy. The way he substituted HER for his drugs and drink. Not into it. The whole “She's dangerous” line.

The real interesting story was in Graham and Karen, and Camila's side of everything.

Oh well. I tried.
