I really wanted to like this book but after a point, I just couldn't. Though I could understand her need to be there for her family and ignore the problems, I couldn't get why she was so insecure that she wanted to be with the guy who was clearly so wrong for her and made her unhappy. Also, there is a whole lot of no or miscommunication going around in this book which is the reason for all the angst and I didn't enjoy that. The only parts of the book that seemed okay to me were the chapters of Brendan's past. And the only characters I liked are probably Olivia and Will though they hardly have any page time. Totally forgettable read for me.
