Everything Happens for a Reason

Short thoughts: This is a beautifully written book. Well worth reading, if for no other reason than a reminder of what to not say to people in pain. But the theological reflections on the problem of evil and pastoral responses to pain are very helpful.

It will be on my list of best books I have read this year.
