Freakboy

This was an excellent read. Brendan's story was amazing and I was cheering for him the entire time. I think this is an important story that has a place in everyone's life, not just for anyone questioning their gender, but for ANYONE who feels they are DIFFERENT. I half wish this story was focused on Angel, as I found her to be awesome and her story amazing and inspiring. The book did drag for me a bit when it was Vanessa's turn (her story was important too- it's good advice not to make one person the entire focus of your life), but, meh, I found myself counting the pages until we got back to Angel. This is a good read. Eye opening.
