Ok finish to an ok series

I'm gonna be honest, the only reason I finished the series was because it was a queer fantasy...didn't particularly mind it, definitely a tad slow and sometimes a little longer than necessary. I appreciate the author's intent and the message of healing. It satisfied what I needed in my reading for the moment.
