Heart's Safe Passage

I love the characters from the first book in the Midwives series that I'm shocked at how much more I like these characters! The book was lively and fun and edge of the seat with some what's-next?! feelings. At times it was a check again to the cover page that I really am reading another author because I wonder if I've jumped into another adventure with Kathleen Y'Barbo or MaryLu Tyndall (high praise in my opinion!). Laurie Alice Eakes is definitely making a way for herself here, and I'm purely delighted. This is my favorite series of hers yet!
