— A book dressing up as something that deals with fat shaming, but it was actually just an eyeroll-inducing romance between a girl and a boy. Both characters are so flat and are defined by the author solely by her fatness and by his illness ugh come on that's just so wrong. Why is the author using these one-dimensional characterizations to drive the romance? To drive the story? Why? And why was there a need for the girl to be wanted by a guy? Why does she need to be wanted by a guy to realize her worth? Why?!
