Hunting Prince Dracula

This was so incredibly boring and I'm honestly surprised I finished it instead of DNF-ing it. I went with the audiobook again since I loved the first one so much, but the narration this time was so awful?? I'm not sure if I just missed it the first time around, but I feel I would have noticed such jarring issues with the narration. The narrator constantly slips out of her accent and it was so distracting. I switched to the ebook about 75% and that made it better because I could skim read this rest of it. In terms of the plot, I was let down. A forensic school seemed like it would be so fun and it just wasn't. The murders didn't interest me and I couldn't connect with any of the new characters. The romance was not at all what I wanted. The same arguments between Thomas and Audrey Rose kept happening over and over and I feel like they were useless and unnecessary as they didn't add any slow burn or angst at all. Basically the whole book was just one big disappointment and I'm sad I pushed myself to finish it.
