HONESTLY? perfect.
I read this at a period of time where i needed a cute contemporary stand-alone, so I really really enjoyed it and didn't think it was too long (which by consensus almost everybody seems to think).
I did read half of it at a friend's place and the rest of it on my Kindle and they were both different versions (one with lola and the other w sabrina- i was genuinely vv confused at first, but twas' a fun experience nonetheless). Honestly i thought Lola was a better character than Brin since the rep could've just been done.. slightly better, but yeah.
Overall, i absolutely loved the characters, the friend group, the banter and the conversations about mental health, therapy etc. Their arguments and the conflict felt very layered and real and was done extremely well, in my opinion.
I loved the characters actually communicating and just saying what they should be; since it was different from what we usually see in books. Henry and JJ were my favs.
super happy i picked this up! you're a 100% missing out if you don't give this a chance:)
