Setz weaves great uncanny and nerdy anecdotes into this novel about a mysterious syndrome that gives children an aura that's harmful to other people. Made-up to leave you a feeling of uncertainty, of mystery and of scary horror. All placed into a location that's very familiar to me, which just amplifies the uncanny.
