Invitation to the Dance

Loved the first 2/3 or so of the book. It's got a nice slow burn that's really not simply because the entire story covers less than two months. But the buildup of the relationship, the fact that we're about 40% through the book before either of them even thinks that they're physically attracted to the other. That was lovely. I also like the supporting characters quite a lot. Especially Rose. She's a sweetheart.

The last third or so brought a mystery to the forefront, which I should have expected considering this author's other work, but that also felt a bit out of place.
