Like Real People Do

this was adorable, i enjoyed it a lot. i wish my reviews could be way more than just “it was amazing, i loved it” but unfortunately i have a lot of trouble expressing my feelings and sensations so uhh yeah! i try though, i really do!
i really liked all these characters and oh god how great it is that they have flaws, and not just small things that you can ignore, but stuff that matters and makes them more real and have more depth and individuality, and even if they have done bad things or had some less good actions you can still like them and see how much more there is.
the plot is pretty simple, not too much angst either which makes it a more lighthearted read! i do like a more prolonged slow burn romance, and so around the 80% mark when alex and eli get together it became a bit harder to read the rest cause there wasn't much to go on, but i did enjoy how there wasn't a /big/ conflict plot-wise besides stuff more personal to the characters
