Lost Army of Cambyses

Worthless and outdated debut novel of an archaeologist... The characters are interesting, the story also, but the writing is... awful.

I actually discovered the secret of quick reading - I read about one sentence on every page, but I still got a clear appreciation of the book and it took me about an hour to read it... (~400 pages)
So not total waste of time >:->
Now I at least know not to read another Sussman ever again :-D

25/6-21 I was reminded of this book again, and have to come here to scream a little.
I STILL HATE IT!!!!!
