It took me a while to get into this book and I'm not exactly sure why. The characters are likeable, the short subplot is interesting enough and the immaculate witty banter between Silas and Maggie is SO good.

I think it was the beginning. It's very slow to build up anything between the characters, so if you're looking for insta-love romance read, this is not for you.
