May Darkness Restore

I thoroughly enjoyed this collection of poems by “the Cowboy Poet” Sean Sexton. I heard him read recently, and he's such an incongruity–a large man, with meaty hands from decades of farm work–but a poetic soul and a painter. The poems are about real subjects–raising cattle, castrating bulls, etc.–and they make for a new experience.
