i haven't had a 5 star read in sooooo long and this was a 5 star 40% through. there was a twist right before the midway point that had me shook and it went exactly the way i wanted it to. originally, i was only a little interested in this because it was a contender for the goodreads choice awards but i'm so glad i picked it up! it gets so weird and reminds me a lot of bunny, in the sense that fucked up things are happening around the main character and she doesn't think much about it and it goes WILD
