I'd give this a five-star rating if it weren't for the last few scenes which didn't make sense to me on how it relates to the rest of the story.

Aside from that, this was very brilliant writing, in my opinion. I think the style fits well with the theme the book is going for. It articulates really well what the characters are going through, what they think, and how they grow. It's a great story about loneliness, relationships, and another take on the “you're still figuring things out when you're already an adult” topic.

Thank you TSG for recommending this!! A gem that I wouldn't have been able to find since I'm mostly reading based on what's popular.
