Octopussy

DNF at 34%.

I tried to give this book a shot but, alas, I cannot go through with it. I found it tedious, mostly. There was also something strange going on with the narrator, it kept going back and forth between 1st person and omniscient which made the plot seem quite nonsensical. It's also sprinkled here and there with crude and disturbing occurrences. I could have gone past it if there had been something even remotely compelling about it, however, I don't want to get to know these characters, nor do I care about their lives, so finishing would be quite a punishment.
